CONSCIENCE

In this morning with sky of blue sequins
I stopped weaving dreams,
so many barren anxieties run through the veins
and everything around is reproduced in reverse
as in a mirror from Purgatory;
the evolution is reflected in the mounds of chaff,
the ragged planet bleeds into stigmas,
outcasts hospitals destroy health,
the courts crush justice,
universities burn knowledge,
governments annihilate freedom,
the media cancels out the truth,
religion neutralizes spirituality.

We are caught in a loop of conspiracies,
a cage of diabolical case
deprived of light, health and joy,
only conscience does not deceive us
and does not flatter us.
Let us leave the divine nature of consciousness
to spill over us, over our souls, over eras,
over dogmas, over goals, over truth.

আজকের এই সকালে আকাশ যখন নীল চুমকিখচিত    

আমি আমার স্বপ্নবয়ন বন্ধ করে দিলাম,

আমার ধমনীতে প্রবাহমান অজস্র অনুর্বর উদ্বিগ্নতা

এবং চারপাশে সবকিছুর বংশবৃদ্ধি হচ্ছে বিপরীতভাবে

দোযখের আয়নার ভেতরে যা দেখা যায় ;

তুষের স্তুপের মধ্যে বিবর্তন প্রতিফলিত হচ্ছে,

জীর্ণ গ্রহ ছড়িয়ে যাচ্ছে অজস্র কলঙ্ক,

অচ্ছ্যুত হাসপাতালগুলো ধ্বংস করছে স্বাস্থ্য,

বিচারালয়গুলো পিষে মারছে ন্যায় বিচার,

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো পুড়িয়ে দিচ্ছে জ্ঞান,

সরকারগুলো সমূলে বিনাশ করছে স্বাধীনতা,

গণমাধ্যমগুলো সত্যের অপলাপ করছে,

আর ধর্ম আধ্যাত্মিকতাকে নিষ্ক্রিয় করছে।

একটি ষড়যন্ত্র চক্রের মধ্য আমরা আটকে পড়েছি,

একটি পাশবিক খাঁচা

যেখানে আলো নেই, স্বাস্থ্য নেই, আনন্দ নেই,

একমাত্র বিবেক আমাদের প্রতারিত করে না

এবং চাটুক্তিও করে না আমাদের।

চল আমরা চেতনার স্বর্গীয় স্বভাব পরিত্যাগ করি যা

আমাদের ওপর , আমাদের আত্মায়,  সুবর্ণ সময়ে

মতবাদে, লক্ষ্যে এবং সত্যে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে।

 

Kamrul Islam biography:

Kamrul Islam, a Professor of English, now deputed as Director at HSTTI, Rajshahi, was born in Bangladesh. He is a published bilingual poet, essayist, translator and  short story writer. Eleven books of poems, four of essays and one of short stories have got published till date. He has been honored by Gujarat Sahitya Academy and Motivational Strips on India’s 74th Independence Day. He has won many certificates of excellence and awards from many global poetry platforms and organizations. His poems have been published in different magazines at home and abroad. In 2017, he edited an anthology “A Collection of Contemporary Bangla Poetry’ including the poets of Bangladesh, West Bengal and Assam. Recently he has been honored on the 60^th Independence Day of Nigeria for his contributions to world literature. Haven for the world writers has also honored him for his dedication to world literature.   

Corina Junghiatu biography:

Author Corina Junghiatu is an Administrator for Motivational Strips and based in our Romania Office. She also handles the role of Publication Coordinator with our web magazine ‘Bharath Vision’

Author Corina has been writing poetry since the age of 12 years. She was born in Bucharest, Romania. Corina has solo written, and published two books of poetry: “Exile in the light” and “The ritual of a Sunrise” and her third book waiting for release is “Spiritual Hues”. She is a journalist, writer, literary critic, book reviewer, editor, public speaker, co-organizer and moderator of international poetry festivals, literary and cultural events in Romania and Eastern Europe countries. She is also coordinates for regional anthologies in the region.

Her poems have appeared in many national and international journals, anthologies, magazine and newspapers. She regularly writes for Motivational Strips and few other forums of repute. Her interactions with the global fraternity of writers and her in-depth poems, has led to her winning several poetry awards from prestigious organisations in Italy, Belgium, U.S.A, Mexic, South Africa, India, Tunisia, Morocco, Serbia, Montenegro, Egypt, Syria and Romania. She studied English and Italian Literature from the University of Bucharest.

Corina Junghiatu is additionally the Director of the “The Literary Voice Magazine” and Director of “World Poets Association” ( Romania), Administrator of literary forum “World Literature Academy”, and also evaluates books as editor for “Liric Graph” publishing house. She is a Platinum Star category member in Motivational Strips and Chief Advisor of World Nations Writers’ Union Kazakhstan in Romanian Literature.

Corina’s writes poem in her own unique, versatile, style and diction. She loves nature, humanity, spiritualism, reading, travelling and shows promising interest in Art, Painting, Philosophy, Theology, Psychology. But irrespective of all this, Poetry remains the essence of her existence.
